Amphawa Floating Market in Samut Songkhram province is one of the largest and most popular floating markets near Bangkok. If you are travelling in Thailand do your research first, we would suggest to avoid the tourist trap of Damnoen Saduak, do yourself a favor and head to Amphawa. We did a lot of research when looking for the ideal floating market, we wanted something that was not too tourist orientated and had authenticity.
