We arrived in Thailand the day before Songkran started, this was great as we had jet lag and it gave us a chance to get to know our surroundings before the festival began. Songkran started the next day and it was so much better than we could ever have expected! We highly recommend checking this out to anybody travelling in Thailand! It's one for the bucket list!
